Canyon Crest Academy CA senior Carlie Dorostkar won the girls Division 1 Senior/Invitational race at the 46th Dana Hills Invitational as she set a new-course record with a time of 15:57.5 at Dana Hills High in Dana Point, Calif.  Dorostkar, who led Canyon Crest Academy to a second-place team finish with 96 points, repeated broke the previous mark of 16:15.1 set by Capistrano Valley's Haley Herberg in 2017. It also marked the fourth time in the best six years a San Diego Section runner was the individual winner with Canyon Crest Academy's Kelly Bernd (2015), La Costa Canyon's McKenna Brown (2016) and Dorostkar last year.
